  • Self‑Checks: Individuals requesting a report on themselves must provide identifying information.

  • Third‑Party Checks: A thirdparty investigation requires the subject’s contact information so SPEAR can issue an authorization form.

  • Signed Consent: No thirdparty investigation proceeds without signed authorization from the subject.

6. Information Sharing

SPEAR does not:
 

  • Sell personal information

  • Share information with third parties for marketing

  • Disclose information outside investigative or legal requirements


Information may be shared only when:

  • Necessary to complete the service requested

When included in a report, SPEAR’s structured Risk Assessment categorizes findings as Low, Moderate, or High. This assessment is based solely on documented information and does not include investigative conclusions or subjective judgments

10. Your Privacy Rights

Clients and subjects may:
 

  • Request a copy of information provided about them

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Withdraw consent (before the investigation begins)

  • Request deletion of data when legally permissible


Requests are processed in accordance with applicable laws.
